Before founding TwinFocus in 2006, Paul founded The Karger Group at UBS where he led a team that counseled global high-net-worth families. He began his career in investment banking at Leerink and went on to join PaineWebber in wealth management in 1999, which was ultimately acquired by UBS in 2000.
Paul holds the designation of Chartered Financial Analyst® and is a member of the Boston Security Analysts Society, CFA® Institute and the Investment Management Consultants Association. He earned his CIMA® at the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School of Finance and holds a B.S. in manufacturing engineering from Boston University. Paul was the recipient of the Outstanding Alumni Award in 2012 from Boston University. He endowed the Theo de Winter Distinguished Faculty Fellowship honoring his professor and longtime mentor.
