Overland Park, Kansas--(Newsfile Corp. - July 5, 2022) - Aspen Funds, the mortgage-backed real estate investment firm, has unveiled its new 'Invest Like a Billionaire' podcast series. It is designed to help inform both new and experienced investors about the world of alternative investments. This sphere of the investment space has been rapidly growing for the past decade, and Aspen hopes to showcase this as an alternative to the currently volatile public markets.
Senior officials at Aspen underline that the decision to start this new venture was motivated by the potential for alternative investments to offer greater diversification, lower volatility, and less risk. However, despite these benefits, it is a relatively unknown area of investment, so the Aspen team felt that producing an educational resource on this would provide a helpful tool for investors.
The firm has launched the 'Invest Like a Billionaire' podcast to demystify the world of alternative investment options so that they can expand their knowledge of this space. Through the podcast, investors receive the information they need to cut through the jargon they hear concerning financial services and products.
For instance, the podcast involves a discussion of the fact that, historically, these alternative investment options were only available to family offices, institutional investors, and ultra-high-net-worth individuals. However, as podcast hosts Bob Fraser, Jim Maffuccio, and Ben Fraser highlight, now it is possible for retail investors to emulate the strategies and the investments of this elite group through options like crowdfunding and private funds. The barriers to entry are lower with the advent of online investing platforms, lower fees, the availability of a wide range of investment options, and lower investment minimums.
In the 'Invest Like a Billionaire' podcast series, topics related to alternate investment options like real estate, private equity, hedge funds, and venture capital are explored in a manner that is both simple and comprehensive.
Commenting on the podcast series, Ben Fraser, Co-Host of the podcast and Managing Director at Aspen Funds, said, "Fears of recession and inflation are making investors think twice about investing in conventional assets like stocks and bonds. Unfortunately, the average investor does not have the time, expertise, or capital to analyze other investment options. This is why we launched the 'Invest Like a Billionaire' podcast. Investors can listen at their convenience as they seek to become more informed investors and build legacy wealth. Even seasoned investors can learn a lot from the guests featured on these podcasts. We believe everyone should have access to information that will equip them to make the best investment decisions for their specific situations and objectives."
